Gainsborough Waste and Texas Outhouse were proud to continue our annual sponsorship of the PetrochemWorks Golf Tournament, which benefits young workers in the Houston area.
This year’s tournament took place on Friday morning, October 26 at Wildcat Golf Club in Houston. Our company provided 2-stall luxury restroom trailers to ensure a comfortable user experience for tournament participants.
While our company did not play the links this year, we appreciated the opportunity to connect with many of our great customers and friends at the tournament.
Why Is This Sponsorship Important For Our Company?
Our company is committed to supporting events that benefit youth in our area. The PetrochemWorks tournament, which is a joint effort of the East Harris County Manufacturers Association (EHCMA), the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), and Construction and Maintenance Education Foundation (CMEF), provides technical student scholarship programs at Lee, San Jacinto, and Houston Community Colleges.
Since 2013, the golf tournament has raised $1.6 million for technical student scholarships! We are proud that our sponsorship has helped set up students for success in their careers through strong educational support.
We look forward to participating in next year’s tournament to continue advancing the future of the workforce in Houston.
