Step 1: Decide If a Dump Site Is Right for You
Our Dump Sites are a good fit if you need to remove a large collection of construction waste and you want a legal, city‑approved place to dump without driving far outside Houston or waiting in long landfill lines.
Typical first‑time users include contractors finishing construction or renovation work, businesses clearing out warehouses or retail spaces during construction, and homeowners tackling small remodels.
Step 2: Know Where to Go (Locations & Hours)
If you believe your situation calls for a Dump Site, we are ready to handle your waste needs. We operate two TCEQ Type V Transfer Stations inside the city limits, both with easy highway access and the same rules and pricing.
East Houston – McCarty Street (Main Office)

- Hours: Monday–Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sat: 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (last entry at 11:30 a.m.)
Sun: Closed
Central Houston – Egbert Street (TC Jester & I‑10)
- Address: 5200 Egbert St., Houston, TX 77007
- Hours: Monday–Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sat–Sun: Closed
Pick whichever location fits your location, route, and hours; you’ll get the same experience at either site.
Step 3: Understand How Pricing Works
We offer simple and transparent pricing so you know exactly what to expect when scheduling drop-off:
- Base rate of $15 per cubic yard
- Total cost based on load size and material type
- Roofing materials charged at a higher rate due to weight and handling

Step 4: Bring Required Safety Gear (PPE)
Our Dump Sites are active work environments. For everyone’s safety, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required on site, whether you’re a contractor or a homeowner:
- Hard hat
- Steel‑toe boots
- Safety vest
- Safety glasses
If you don’t have PPE, we can provide individual items for a fee, but bringing your own is usually easiest. Once you’re geared up, our staff will direct you where to go and how to unload.
Step 5: Make Sure Your Waste Is Accepted
As a TCEQ Type V Disposal Site for dry waste (no food waste), we accept municipal solid waste from construction and demolition waste streams, plus many types of household construction waste.
Common Materials We Accept
We accept the following types of construction-related materials:
- Construction debris: drywall, tile, shingles, lumber
- Concrete and bricks
- Roofing materials (higher rate applies)
- Untreated and treated lumber
- Untreated sheetrock and other drywall
- Inert fill: brick, stones, soil, gravel, sand, dirt
- Plastics: PVC, HDPE, LLDPE
This covers most typical construction, remodeling, and cleanout projects.
What We Do Not Accept
We do not accept hazardous waste, chemicals, or liquids. Examples of prohibited materials include:
- Pesticide containers and materials containing asbestos
- Contaminated soil, incinerator ash, and hazardous waste
- PCB waste, radioactive waste, and unknown chemicals
- Tanks, drums, or containers used for storing hazardous materials
- Paint cans, fluorescent light bulbs, and ballasts
If something looks like a chemical, fuel, oil, or anything that might leak, call before you load it. We’ll confirm whether it’s allowed or help you find the proper disposal site.
Step 6: What Actually Happens When You Arrive
Once you arrive at one of our locations, here’s what a typical first visit looks like:
- Follow the signs into the facility. You’ll enter on a paved, cement road designed for pickups, trailers, and commercial trucks. No mud on your shoes, truck, or trailer.
- Check in with our team. A staff member will greet you, confirm your load type, and talk through where you’ll be unloading. If you don’t have PPE, we’ll help you get set up.
- We’ll direct you to the right unloading area. Follow posted signs and staff directions. Traffic flow is designed to keep vehicles moving safely and efficiently.
- Unload your waste. Once you’re parked in the designated spot, you (or your crew) will remove the waste from your truck or trailer. Our team will be nearby to answer questions and make sure everything goes where it needs to.
- We handle the rest. After you unload, we take it from there, handling sorting, consolidating, and moving materials for proper disposal or further processing.
- Settle payment and roll out. You’ll complete payment based on your load and be back on the road quickly. We accept Zelle, plus major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
