According to Recycle Across America, recycling is the top action society can do to simultaneously improve the environment, the economy, sustainable manufacturing and to prevent waste from going into oceans.
At Gainsborough Waste, we are proud to be a part of a larger effort to recycle and repurpose waste materials. To date, approximately 65% of the waste loads that come through our facilities are recycled and sent to recycling sites, making us an industry leader in this realm.
Both of our company-owned transfer stations sort scrap metal, concrete and wooden materials. These materials are then sent off for further processing.
Internally, we also sort and recycle paper, trash and other materials at our main transfer station, located east of downtown Houston. We take pride in our efforts to improve the environment, and continualy strive to make our earth a better place for generations to come.
